Carl W. Hartman has been promoted from private to corporal. He is now stationed with the engineer amphibian command at Camp Edwards, Mass.

Carl William Hartman was born Mar. 5, 1909 to Christian and Catherine Burkhardt Hartman. He died Mar. 15, 1980 and is buried in East Lawn Memorial Park, Sacramento, CA.
