Glen Henry Dies Suddenly
Glen E. Henry, 51, died suddenly at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, having suffered a heart attack while visiting at the Webster City Motor Sales lot.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. Paul Clement officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Glen E. Henry, son of Frank and Sophie Henry, was born May 30, 1907, at Wakefield, Neb. He was reared and educated at Wakefield and was employed there for several years.
He entered service in World War II in 1941, serving in the Aleutian islands sector. After his discharge in 1948, he returned to Wakefield. He later moved to Omaha where he was employed for a time before entering the Veterans hospital in Omaha where he was a patient for 15 months.
For the past three years he had made his home here, and for the past year had been employed at the Chevrolet garage.
Mr. Henry is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sophie Henry of Webster City; one sister, Evodia Henry of Webster City; one brother, Melvin Henry of Wakefield, Neb.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1934.
Mr. Henry was baptized and confirmed in the Salem Lutheran church in Wakefield, Neb. He was a member of the American Legion.
