Virgil Clyde Harless was born June 25, 1921 to Earl Wilford and Ethel M. Harless. He died Mar. 31, 1944 and is buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay, MO.
Cpl. Harless served in World War II with the U.S. Army Troop A, 8th Cavalry and died of wounds received in the Admiralty Islands while in the service of his country.
