Three Sioux Cityans Commissioned
Robert G. Haley, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Haley, rural route, pictured on the left, Richard J Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carrol N. Smith, 2221 Jackson Street, center and Homer A. Dunn, son of Rev. and Mrs. George W. Dunn, 1915 Nebraska Street, right, have successfully completed the army air forces advanced flying school training at Williams field, Chandler, Ariz. and have been commissioned second lieutenants in the army air corps.
Lieut. Haley is a former student of Central High School and the University of South Dakota; Lieut. Smith is a former student of Morningside College and Oshkosh State Teachers college and Lieut. Dunn is a former student of Central High School and Morningside College.
