Sac City, Iowa—Private First Class Frederic W. Hahne has qualified for specialized training and is now stationed at the University of Oklahoma. Private Hahne enlisted in the air corps at Sioux City, in 1942, and was stationed at Brooks’s field, San Antonio and Truax field, Madison Wis., before going to Oklahoma.

Frederic William Hahne was born Apr. 4, 1923 to William Frederick and Blanche Marie Jensen Hahne. He died Oct. 21, 1995 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
Pvt. Hahne served in World War II with the U.S. Army 411th Infantry, 103rd Division and the U.S. Army Air Corps.
