Lyle Edward Goodall was born Nov. 28, 1919 to John and Ida Burckett Goodall. He died July 19, 1943. He was initially buried in the temporary American cemetery GELA in Sicily and his remains were moved after the war to Sicily-Rome Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Pvt. Goodall served in World War II with the U.S. Army Medical Dept., 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division and was KIA in Sicily and awarded the Purple Heart.
