Albert Goldstein, son of Mrs. Sarah Goldstein, 2115 Jackson Street, who has been attending the University of Minnesota, is now in naval officer’s training school in Minneapolis.

Mount Sinai Rabbi and Medical Officer Promoted to Captain

Two Sioux Cityans, Frederic W. Wilson and Albert S. Goldstein, have received promotions from lieutenant to captain, the war department announced Sunday.

Capt. Goldstein, rabbi of Mount Sinai synagogue was granted a leave of absence 18 months ago to enter the service. A member of the Central Council of American Rabbis, Capt. Goldstein is serving as a chaplain at Sheppard field, Tex. Before coming to Sioux City he served in Davenport, Iowa, and St. Joseph, Mo., synagogues.

Son of Dr. Frederic L. Wilson, 2401 E. Solway Street, Capt. Wilson is an officer in the medical corps. He attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, completed his medical course in Northwestern University and served as internship at St. Luke’s hospital, Chicago.
