Harry F. Gibbs aka Frank Harry Gibbs was born Sept. 29, 1915 to John Henry and Gertrude May Scovel Gibbs. He died Nov. 2, 1944 and is buried in Thorpe Union Cemetery, Delaware Co., IA.
Pvt. Gibbs served in World War II with the U.S. Army 34th Infantry Division and was KIA on Leyte, Philippine Islands.
