Patrick Joseph “Pat” Furleigh was born Mar. 18, 1924 to Philip Howard and Anna Frances Furleigh. He died May 11, 1944 and is buried in Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, IA.
Patrick was training in the U.S. Navy pilot’s school in Pensacola, Fl and died in a plane crash only 3 days before he was to graduate. He was awarded his pilot’s wings posthumously.
