Lewis John Fousek was born Oct. 8, 1912 to Thomas and Anna B. Fousek. He died Oct. 24, 1944 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoze, France.
Sgt. Fousek served in World War II with the U.S. Army 313th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Division and was KIA in France and awarded the Purple Heart.
