William A. Fluallen was born was born about 1915 to William Henry and Dutie Sandberg Fluallen. He died Feb. 14, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Capt. Fluallen served in World War II with the U.S. Army 194th Field Artillery Battalion and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart. Capt. Fluallen attended Iowa State University.
