Robert Francis Feyereisen was born Sept. 17, 1921 to Daniel Joseph and Pearl Mae Moss Feyereisen. He died Dec. 10, 1945 is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Greene, IA.
Cpl. Feyereisen served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was killed in an auto accident in Germany. He served with Headquarters Battery, 314th Field Artillery Battalion and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Medal with three bronze service stars for the Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe Campaigns, the WWII Victory Medal and the Marksman Badge with Carbine Bar.
