Frank Victory Exline was born Oct. 13, 1918 to Archie and Josephine A. Schreckengost Exline. He died Feb. 15, 2014 and is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Chief Petty Officer Exline served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was a Japanese POW from May 6, 1942 through Aug. 19, 1945. He retired from the Navy, having served from 1938 to 1958.
