Earl Albert Dickinson was born Nov. 8, 1924 to Morton R. and Hettie Mabel Puffey Dickinson. He died Jan. 9, 1945 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and memorialized in Calhoun Cemetery, Calhoun, IA.
Sgt. Dickinson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 169th Infantry Regiment, 43rd Infantry Division and was KIA on Luzon, Philippine Islands. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
