Darrell Rex Dickenson was born June 18, 1921 to Marion and Julia May Pierce Dickenson. He died Mar. 15, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.
Sgt. Dickenson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 350th Bomber Squadron, 100th Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA in Brunswick, Germany. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart and Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
