Merwin A. Davis was born about 1922 to Harold D. and Ada M. McCauley Davis. He died Aug. 20, 1944 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoze, France.
Pvt. Davis served in World War II with the U.S. Army 113th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
