James Merrill Dalton was born Nov. 4, 1917 Edward E. and Allie M. Johnson Dalton. He died Oct. 16, 1944 and is buried in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Pvt. Dalton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 12th Infantry, 30th Infantry Division and died in Germany in the service of his country.
