Frank Junior Custer was born May 22, 1919 to Lashlie Frank “Frank" and Lulu Ann Ritchie Custer. He died Sept. 13, 1941 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plane, IA.
Pvt. Custer served with the U.S. Army Air Corps, 30th Bomb Group in World War II. He died as the result of an auto accident when returning home on furlough.
