S. Sgt. Basil E. Culver, son of Mr. and Mrs. B.E. Culver, 1903 S. Olive Street, has arrived at army air forces redistribution stations 2 in Miami Beach, Florida for reassignment processing after completing a tour of duty outside the continental United States. Sgt. Culver was a gunner in the European theater for five months and flew on 30 missions. He has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the air medal with three oak leaf clusters.
