Leo V. Cotter was born Apr. 14, 1921 to Edward F. and Mary A. Cotter. He died Nov. 2, 1942 and is buried in Oak Hill Calvary Cemetery, Corning, IA.
Lt. Cotter served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Bombardier Instructor at Kirtland Field, NM and was killed in the crash of an AT-11 trainer aircraft.
