Charles Wellington Carlson was born Mar. 10, 1915 to George and Myrtle Starr Carlson. He died Jan. 7, 1944 and is memorialized at Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center, IA.
Sgt. Carlson served with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was lost/buried at sea in the SW Pacific when his plane went down.
