William Charles Campbell was born Dec. 30, 1926 to Charles A. and Ina M. Woods Campbell. He died Dec. 16, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.
Pvt. Campbell served in World War II with the U.S. Army 347th Infantry, 87th Division and was MIA/KIA in France in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
