Earl Louis Calkins was born Feb. 19, 1917. He died Aug. 12, 1984 and is buried in Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Oceanside, CA. Earl served with Co. E, 133rd Infantry, 34th Division U.S. Army in World War II.
His parents were Samuel Albert and Gertrude Louisa ‘Gertie’ Brown Calkins of Webster City, Iowa.
