Phil Boland, 609 West Seventh, sailor –“Getting in the navy was the nicest that’s ever happened to me, I would say. I’ve just been in six weeks now, and am home on boot leave. Then I go back to Great Lakes for assignment. This life is swell. It’s got anything beat I’ve ever done before."
