William H. Billingsley was born July 13, 1923 to Samuel and Iva Jane Erickson Billingsley. He died Mar. 1, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg and has a cenotaph in Glasgow Cemetery, Glasgow, IA.
Pvt. Billingsley served in World War II with the U.S. Army 11th Tank Battalion, 10th Armored Division and was KIA in Germany. He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart.
