John Addison Best was born Sept. 25, 1922 to Addison F. and Helen A. Cook Best. He died Dec. 4, 1981 and is buried in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK.
Pvt. Best served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and became a POW of the Japanese. He also served in Korea.
