Clifford Merle “Kip” Barquist was born Dec. 5, 1914 to Edwin Herman and Johanna Charlotte Barquist. He died May 9, 1981 and is buried in South Marion Cemetery, Stratford, IA.
Cpl. Barquist served in World War II with the U.S. Army in the European Theatre of Operations.
