William Samuel Brinning was born June 30, 1920 to W. H. and Grace E. Anderson Brinning. He died Dec. 13, 1943 and is buried in Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington, IA.
Pvt. Brinning served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 34th Bomb Squadron and was MIA/POW in Tokyo, Japan and died while a POW.
