David H. Brink, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Brink, 3107 Jay Avenue, was commissioned an ensign in the United States naval reserve and designated a naval aviator at graduation exercises held at the naval air training center at Corpus Christi, Texas. Brink volunteered for flight training after C. A A. primary training last February. He received preliminary flight instruction at the Minneapolis reserve aviation base. He then was transferred to Corpus Christi.
