Lloyd H. Brayton was May 19, 1919 to Asa Harold and Florence Mack Brayton. He died June 10, 1944 and has a cenotaph at the Renwick Cemetery, Renwick, IA.
Pvt. Brayton was KIA in France while serving with the 8th Infantry, 4th Division, U.S. Army in World War II and is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France. He was awarded a Purple Heart.
