Edgar William Bloom was born Oct. 19, 1901 to John A. and Jessie Peters Bloom. He died Aug. 22, 1987 in Oregon.
Col. Bloom served in World War II with the U.S. Army and served 2-1/2 yrs. in the South Pacific with General Kruger’s 6th Army.
