William Ralph “Bill” Bliss was born Nov. 10, 1918 to Ralph Kenneth and Ethel Eveleth McKinley. He died in 1992 and is buried in Iowa State University Cemetery, Ames, IA.
William served in in World War II with the U.S. Army at Ft. Dix Separation Center, Wakeman General Hospital and the Army-Navy General Hospital.
