Merwin Lee Beery was born Sept. 11, 1923 to Percy A. and Ula W. Beery. He died Sept. 3, 1945 and is buried in Butler Cemetery, Shambaugh, IA.
Sgt. Beery served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 372 Bomb Squadron and died on Morotai Island, Netherlands Indies.
