Lyman Leslie Aspedon was born Oct. 16, 1914 to Fredrick William and Jane Gertrude Smith Aspedon. He died Jan. 4, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
Sgt. Aspedon served in World War II with the U.S. Army 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division and was KIA in Leige, Belgium and was awarded the Purple Heart.
