Norbert Gail Allen was born June 26, 1914 to Walter Sherman and Ellyn Rebder Allen. He died Dec. 11, 1943 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Sgt. Allen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 67th Bomb Squadron, 44th Bomb Group and was MIA/FOD/KIA in Germany and awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.
