Maxwell Bowen “Max” Allen was born Feb. 20, 1916 to Foss C. and Gladys E. Bowen Allen. He died Mar. 10, 1971 and is buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.
Sgt. Allen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and was MIA and became a German POW at Stalag 9-A, later liberated.
