Andrew Russell Aandahl was born Oct. 2, 1912 to George J. and Bessie Krogen Aandahl. He died Sept. 9, 2003 and is buried in Elim Cemetery, Litchville, ND.
Lt. Aandahl served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Haynsworth (DD-700) in the Pacific.
