NEWS OF OUR MEN and WOMEN IN UNIFORM
Cpl. John VanderWeide and Cpl. John VanVoorst recently met in England and had a nice visit together. Mr. and Mrs. Peter VanderWeide also received word from their son Henry VanderWeide saying that he had been moved from France into Belgium. He is with the transportation corps.

John Van Der Weide was born Aug. 11, 1922 to Peter and Hattie Harshamp Van Der Weide. He died Apr. 30, 1984 and is buried in Memory Gardens Sioux Center Cemetery, Sioux Center, IA.
