Sunday, Nov. 12.
Dear Business Girls,
Funny hearing from me I reckon, but owe you all a few lines in appreciation for the very useful and beautiful Christmas parcel I received from you.
Accept my many thanks for your effort and generosity, girls. We hope and pray we may all have a Merry and Peaceful Christmas together in 1945. Wishing you all my hearty greetings for a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.
Yours sincerely, Sgt. John Van Voorst
