IN UNIFORM.
Pfc. Wilmer R. Towns, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Towns, 407 Buckwalter drive, has received another major engagement star for his European theater of operations ribbon. Recognition was for participating in the Roer break through with the 102d division of the Ninth army. Recently he was awarded the bronze star for bravery under fire. Pfc. Towns has been fighting inside Germany since last October.
