Ronald Kenneth Stone, son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Stone, 428 W. First Street is attending the naval training school for radiomen at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.

Ronald K. Stone, radioman second class, will leave to return to his ship at Norfolk, Va., today after spending a 30-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Stone, 428 W. First street. Radioman Stone was in naval action for one year in England, Italy and France.

Ronald Kenneth Stone was born June 25, 1923 to John J. and Inga H. Wallum Stone. He died Jan. 10, 2004 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
Petty Officer Stone served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
