Melvin C. Sick, fireman first class, is spending a 15-day leave with his wife and daughter and parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Sick, 2403 Geneva street. He is a member of the crew of the U.S.S. Alkes and will report to his ship on the west coast, November 1.
