Royden D. Schooley Sr.

 

 

 

IN UNIFORM

Royden D.Schooley, sr., has been promoted to the rank of chief specialist at the Charleston, R. I., navy yards, where he also is fire chief and assistant fire marshal. He spent the holidays with his wife, 1615 W. 16th street.

Lt. and Mrs. Royden D. Schooley, jr., of Ft. Benning, Ga., have returned to that station after spending the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Royden D. Schooley, sr., 1615 W. 16th street, and Mr. and Mrs. John Schuman, 1611 W. 16th street.

Chief Specialist Royden D. Schooley, chief of the fire department at a Navy night fighter training base in Charlestown, R. I., and his son, Lt. Royden D. Schooley, Jr., of the Army air forces, met recently for a brief exchange of experiences in their home, 1615 W. 16th street.  Lt. Schooley completed his required number of missions as a Liberator pilot overseas and now is stationed at Lawson field, Ga.
