Ensign Newton N. Sacks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Sacks, 2807 Pierce street, was transferred recently from Boudin college in Brunswick, Me., to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. He is in the radar division. His wife and son are residing in Boston with him.

Newton Nathaniel ”Newt" Sacks was born Mar. 27, 1918 to Abraham Isaac and Hannah Brodskt Sacks. He died Nov. 4, 2016 and is buried in Home of Peace Cemetery, San Diego, CA.
LTJG Sacks served in World War II with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater aboard the USS Dane (APA-238).
