News About Men in Service From Over Northeast Iowa
Ensign Richard Roberts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts, has recently received a commission as ensign, and is now stationed at the Navy section base near New York City, where he is receiving training in a disbursing office. In a few weeks he expects to be sent to Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., for training in the school of business administration.
For seven years Mr. Roberts has been associated with the department of agriculture in Washington. Recently he had been chief program director of the livestock and meat board under the war food administration.
