Our Men In Service

Former Patrolman Jack Rispalje writes from Owensboro, Kentucky where he is taking six weeks of intensive training in a coast guard school, that he has just met former Patrolmen Sam Hoffman and Fred Brimmer there. Rispalje, who will complete his training in a few weeks, reports that his former mates have finished their training and are now petty officers, second class, waiting for assignment. The wives of the three men are remaining in Sioux City.

Men in Service.

Jack Rispalje, former patrolman here, and now a member of the coast guard at Louisville, Kentucky, is home on a 10-day leave for a visit with his wife at 1805 S. Clinton Street, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Park Rispalje, 1311 Hill Avenue.

Coast Guardsman John A. Rispalje, son of Mr. and Mrs. Park Rispalje, 1311 Hill avenue, has been promoted to the grade of specialist first class.  He is attached to the explosive section at Benicia arsenal, Benicia, Cal.  He is on leave of absence from the Sioux City police department.
