MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE
Lieut. Gerald P. Pill, who recently was commissioned on graduation at the Army air corps administration officers candidate school at Miami Beach, Fla., is spending a week’s leave at the home of his mother, Mrs. Phillip Pill, 1710 Douglas street, before assignment at Dale Mabry field, Tallahassee. A brother, Private First Class Irving Pill, veteran of the north African, Sicilian and Italian campaigns, cabled congratulations from north Africa. Enroute from Florida, Lieut. Pill visited his sisters, Anna and Gisela, in Washington D.C. Miss Beatrice Pill, Chicago, is visiting here during her brother’s leave.

Pvt. Irving Pill, who spent several days here with his mother, Mrs. Rosa Pill, 1710 Douglas street, has returned to the army motion picture studios in New York after three months’ detached service in Los Angeles.
