Purple Heart For Pfc. Niles Received
Mrs. Dale Niles, 515 East Third street, has just received the Purple Heart medal awarded to her husband, Pfc. Dale Niles, for injuries suffered in action in Belgium, Jan. 5.
Mrs. Niles has also been advised that her husband’s injuries were to his right leg, and that he is recovering in a hospital in England.

Dale S. Niles was born July 25, 1921 to Ernest P. and Ethel Estes Niles. He died Apr. 20, 1995 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Muscatine, IA.
