Loyd M. Moore
The body of Pvt. Loyd H. Moore, 24, 101 Cass street, killed in action in the African campaign June 14, 1943, arrived in Council Bluffs Saturday morning and was taken to the Woodring funeral home where it will remain until Monday noon.
Pvt. Moore had been a life-long local resident prior to his enlistment.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. at the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church with Elder V. D. Ruch officiating. Veterans of Foreign Wars post No. 737 will conduct rites at Cedar Lawn cemetery.
