Woodrow J. Klouda Seriously Wounded in Luzon Fighting

Pfc.  Woodrow J. Klouda, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Klouda, 712 ½ Otoe street, was seriously wounded in action January 30, on Luzon, according to word received by his parents.  Pfc. Klouda was with the 160th infantry that invaded Luzon.

Before entering the service in March, 1941, Pfc. Klouda was scoutmaster of troop 6 which met in the Hopkins school.  He graduated from Central high school in 1937, and has been overseas for three years.
